The charter of the Reichswehr

Preamble: Reichswehreid

I hereby swear complete fealty and allegiance to the banner of the Reichswehr and the Reichsmarschall, Kaiser Wilhelm II, himself. I solemnly swear to uphold the charter and all the values emphasized therein as law, and pledge undying loyalty to the Reichsmarschall of the Reichswehr and his Führungsstab. I furthermore pledge to fight treason, cowardice, and desertion within our own ranks. My loyalty is my life, so god help me!

Part A

Article I: The Name and Colour

Reichswehr means translated “Imperial/Reich Defense”.
It was the name of the army of the first real democratic state ever existing on german ground.
The official acronym is Rw.
The Reichswehr sets itself on the blue sphere (prussian blue), but may change on opportunity.

Article II: The Banner

1. The Reichswehr has no official flag.
It uses the personal banner of the current Reichsmarschall.
The banner of the Reichsmarschall is not his national flag.

2. The current banner is that of Wilhelm II.
The colours are prussian blue and gold. In the center is an Iron Cross with the founding date of the Reichswehr and the W for Wilhelm.
Surrounding the Iron cross is a golden laurel wreath with the Valknut at it's base. In each of the corners is a german eagle sitting on an Iron Cross above the Reichsmarschall's batons. The banner is framed by golden laurel wreaths with a Balkenkreuz combining them in the corners. 1995 is the year of foundation.

Article III: Ideology

The Reichswehr is a group based on militarism, german culture, history and army traditions and the ideals of internationalism, comradery and loyalty. Our political ideology consists of monarchism, fascism, conservatism, socialism and anti-liberalism. Our economic ideology is left-winged social market economics.
The use of national socialist symbols and mottos is forbidden, and will be punished accordingly. We may be a narrow-minded, but still an international group, and every soldier who acts against the above mentioned rule, ingame or on the OWF, will be demoted or eventually removed from the army.

Article IV: Raid & War

Raiding other Alliances is strongly forbidden by the Reichswehr.
No soldier of the Reichswehr, regardless of his score, shall raid another nation, since that would tarnish the honour and reputation of the army. The exceptions to this rule are deserters and unaligned nations.
The Reichswehr is a non-neutral alliance and shall retaliate against every menace who should try to shoot even one of our comrades.

Article l – Admission Statement

All and any nations of or joining the white sphere that swear loyalty to the Reichswehr may be accepted as soldiers after registering on our forums and pass our conscription requirements.
Any soldier who hasn't reported for duty for longer then 7 days without getting furlough, will be marked as deserter and shot on sight (he can be raided).

Article ll – Structure and Offices

1. The Reichsmarschall
The Reichsmarschall is the head of Reichswehr, and leads as its chief in command. He holds a the final say in all affairs regarding the alliance, and cannot be overridden. To assist him in managing the Reichswehr, he appoints the Führungsstab, responsible for foreign/internal/financial/defense Affairs.

2. Generalfeldmarschall - Minister of Defense
This official is the second highest ranking Soldier of the Reichswehr, and may rule in the absence of the Reichsmarschall. He is a responsible for all matters of defense and, in cooperation with the Reichsmarschall, the appointment of the 3 Generals. Together with them they form the Generalstab.

3. The Generalstab
The Generalstab consists of the Reichsmarschall, the Generalfeldmarschall and 3 other Generals. Each of those Generals again directs an military branch, which is called Oberkommando,  “Heer”, “Marine” and “Luftwaffe”.
Oberkommando des Heeres (OKH) -> Oberbefehlshaber des Heeres (General)
Oberkommando der Marine (OKM) -> Oberbefehlshaber der Marine (Admiral)
Oberkommando der Luftwaffe (OKL) -> Oberbefehlshaber der Luftwaffe (General)
Oberkommando = high command
Oberbefehlshaber = high commander

4. The Führungsstab
The Führungsstab consists of the Reichsmarschall, Generalfeldmarschall and Generalstab(defense), the Schatzmeister(finance), the Leitung Inneres Amt(internal) and the Leitung Auswärtiges Amt(foreign).
Each member of the Führungsstab has to do his duty in best conscience, and always for the good of the Reichswehr.
To replace the Reichsmarschall, for whatever the reason, the vote of 75% of the Führungsstab is needed.

5. The Soldiers
Every soldier can always state his ideas for improvement or his complaints to the Führung.
Any soldier can always demand a promotion into the Stab, which will be discussed by the whole Führungsstab.

Article lll – Peace and Diplomacy

The control of diplomatic affairs lies with the “Leitung Auswärtiges Amt”, who may appoint his Stabsmitglieder für das Auswärtige Amt (diplomats) to assist him in this task, and serve at his discretion. He rules at the sole discretion of the Reichsmarschall, and as such has sole control over his ministry and it’s matters. Treaties may be proposed by the “Leitung a.A.” to the Führungsstab, and must be approved by the Reichsmarschall and the respective treaty partner.

Article lV – War and Conflict

In the name of defending our troop, and after all diplomacy has been exhausted or otherwise spent, the Reichsmarschall may declare war on another sovereign alliance in the name of preemptive security. During time of conflict, he may extend the power to act accordingly to the Generalstab to neutralize threats and dangers to the Reichswehr. War is considered an extension of diplomacy, and will use if deemed necessary.

Article V – Treason and Expulsion

Treason and sedition are automatically punishable on permanent ZI and nuclear death as well as expulsion. In cases in which a nation may need to be expelled even if it is not guilty of treason, the Führungsstab has to decide the fate of the subject at hand.
Desertion Clause:
No nation may leave during wartime unless authorized by the Führungsstab. Also, no nation may leave if they had taken large amounts from the banks without contributing in return.

Article Vl - Emergencies

Given that a structural emergency is present in which a very fast resolution and decision is demanded, and neither the Reichsmarschall nor the Generalfeldmarschall is available/present, the Führungsstab may act on their own accord.

Article Vll - Amendments

Any motion to amend or add to this charter or general Reichswehr policies may be submitted to the Reichsmarschall for review, and be voted upon within the Führungsstab.

We sign this document for the above stated reason, of preserving prosperity, ensuring the security of our soldiers, and bringing a newfound order to the chaos of these times;

Signed
Kaiser Wilhelm ll, Reichsmarschall der Reichswehr, König von Preußen und Kaiser des Großdeutschen Reiches
